A white male wearing a red bandana, approached the victim. The suspect displayed a knife to the delivery man, took several pizzas and searched the victim for cash. The victim didn’t carry any cash. A white male was caught on video pulling up to the store in an older model white truck. He cut chains off of the door to gain entry and steal merchandise. On 12-17-12, at 9:49 AM, officers responded to a knife-point robbery of the Toot ‘n Totum Store at 2441 S. Western. The store employee, a white male age 49, told officers that the suspect entered the store carrying a small pocket knife. The robber approached the counter. He told the employee to open the drawer, and then told him to give him the money. The clerk complied with the armed man’s demand. The suspect then fled from the store and ran north and possibly east. The suspect was a white or Hispanic male about 5 feet 7 inches tall, medium to stocky build. His face was covered with some type of dark stocking mask. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket with the hood over his head. The jacket had a white patch, design, or spot on the top of the hood and on the back. He was also wearing gloves, blue jeans and white high topped tennis shoes. No one was injured and there have been no arrests. Photos of the suspect are attached.
